"Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there's footprints on the moon!"
:icontheartyst:
thanks Brian,

I gotta tell ya a little about this one, cuz 4 some reason (at this particular time - it was a real turning point in my Portrait drawing career) I had completed around 700 quick B&W ones and probably 50 color,... and I decided to place serious emphasis on the skin - No clothing at all, except line-work.

The turning point was because all of my clients saw me in a different light ! "Mr super realism" with a pencil, and this piece got me so many new commissions that I started calling it "Arnold the Salesman" My prices doubled and I turned down so many offers to purchase Arnold left & right.

Someday I'll get a better/larger scan of it and re-post it...

How was your new years?

Victor

Wow looks really good. You did a great job. So, do you prefer him as an actor or a poltican.

At the beginning of the Space Program, Nasa discovered a ball-point pen would not work in anti-gravity, so the spent one billion dollars developing the famous Space Pen. The USSR used a pencil.....
:icontheartyst:
neither, but he was a great personality in his heyday
:iconjado-the-shadow:
Yeah, I just really didn't think he was good at comedy, yet he kept trying to do them.

Dude!

This is just simply ahnuhld in his heyday! back when films were fun!

I do really like the concept of the detail on the skin and facial features but not on the t-shirt! It's almost like a reverse clothing designer's sketch. It definitely draws the attention towards the detail you've put into his expression!
